Thank you

Mama Cassandra,
Thank you for being you, you've been a mother and supporter. You've supported me in your musical arms. You entertained my primitivity ever since we met. The children will always miss you and the upbeat hope you always brought with you. I remember you driving to Gugs to pick up the children and defying all the negatives and stereotypes of crime. The children loved it. You got me to the Putumayo family and exposed me to authentic music from people I had never heard of. That gave me strength along the way on my journey. Your office become my office to use at whatever time I needed it. The fire was always burning. When i write this i am very nostalgic and know that we've always held our destinies in our hands. I appreciate the fact of, and have pride in, knowing you as a friend, sister and mother. I will remain a son, your small brother and friend, and always remain open to you as I know from experience that you will advise me without wanting to please. You've told me to stop and take a look at where I want to go. I have had my up and downs, but you've managed to understand, in your motherly ways. I am grateful and will never let go of your hold. The ox-tail you made for me and Lamela my brother, which we always fought over. We are living in a real world and I do thank the ancestors for recalling you back home and guarding your spirit in the land of your birth. They are definitely proud of you and who you are. A mother.

Mama Briggy,
Hallo to you, warrior mother, you've been kicking in a style and ways that I could never have imagined, I hope that you remain fit. I got the feeling of a mother's blanket, dedication and faith. You took me under your arms and vowed to support me attain my goal. You've done it. Ever since I got introduced to you through More To Life, I have been free and been able to fly out and reach my goal with a connecting feeling. You've always had the clarity of a mother's concerns for her child. I've looked back to the story of your Bavarian Father who used to take you hunting. You woke me up from a slumbering game. I will never walk again voluntarily to the morgue, I know that I will walk there out of choice and enjoy it with no regret. I will continue to hold your hand, knowing that you've seen me. While in Mozambique, the singing from your participants in U.K was really humbling, and I thank them all for their prayers and support. I will honour and respect the space that you hold in my life and others all over the world. I thank you for giving me the courage to respect and stand for the future of my world, the respect of my happiness and the respect of mother earth. I have a goal, to be free in peace and able to follow my values and my own ancestors' ways. Respect for all of the elements of life: air, fire, land and water.

Barbara,
Your monkey bizz project has been an inspiration, and your intention for the betterment of our people has been clear. I am happy that we connected and we work together. That is the spirit that will propel us into a peaceful world, where diversity is no excuse for animosity, but leads to a beautiful and peaceful world. By identifying the talents that have always been there in our traditional lives, and by bringing it forth to encourage the development and not the disappearance of this culture, you are helping to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich.

Portia,
Your support as a comrade and a sister with the Hope for the children has been noted. You are my family and will always hold my respect for you and your family.

Faith,
Wow! You have been an inspiration. Your positive approach to everything has seen me walk with a positive attitude all along my journey. Your spirit in solving issues and letting everyone understand my mission is very much appreciated. The world is lucky to have you here, and for sure it is a perfect world. It is balanced. Whenever I met you spiritually, I realized how balanced the world is and the perfection of creation. All things have a purpose and are special artworks of creation.

Ingrid,
I cannot forget what you've meant to my journey, you've been a darling and always been upbeat in connecting me with various people in interested fields connected with the Maasai mission. You've been a support that has held the world's contacts at hand. Thanks and be well.

Muthiyani,
It was a privilege to know and to spend some quality time with you. Your simple approach to issues and assistance with your contacts has meant a lot to the mission. I am happy that we had more than what we hoped for, and that tells us how unique and special life is. My journey had a different dimension because of the understanding you brought. All is well that ends well

Elke,
You have been a great person in my journey. Your support and generosity has been more than supportive and well meant. You have given me a real view of the western mentality and I am glad that I had the chance to learn. Every day is a new day and the beauty of life is that we never know what the next second comes with. Peace is all that our universe calls for.

Rolf,
Ankerman, I always define this name as an anchor, for to me you have been support to this "ship". You gave me all that I needed, without any regard to my primitive status. The mobile phone you got me helped me get through so many barriers in Africa. To them it meant: do not dare to stop this man! It has always haunted me that the only thing I gave back was a bill. You supported my exhibition and were always there to discuss things. I became part of your family as you did mine. I hope that I make it up to you by achieving my goal that you have so much believed in and supported. I am grateful to know you and count on your blessings together with your Brandkey partners. I never thought that the world still had such people, who could go to such extremes to support a mission. You changed my outlook of the world.

Gery,
You've been a warrior ahead of the pack. I would get to some point, and everything was already planned. People had already known about my walk and the people we were walking with. You've been a beacon of hope for the journey and the Maasai mission. Your expertise has been very much part of the mission and my life. I respect the light that you give to my life by knowing you are there any time. And your promises are always honoured. I hope our leaders may learn such wisdom as yours. Our world is definitely a better one because of such people as you.

Machava,
Obrigado, everything has a reason, and meeting Omelga and being introduced to you was planned, I believe. You have been a brother and an African, always on your toes and alert. Mozambique became my home because you made it possible. Maputo respects you and you deserve that acknowledgement. It is nice to know that the mission has you on it's side and we shall achieve our goal. Is it not amazing that no one can explain why the sun rises from east and sets in the west?

Jens,
I would not want to imagine where the mission would be without your support and dedication to enable it to reach it's goal. The website has been stable and I only wish I could have made maximum use of it. I do know that the hand that giveth is better than the one that taketh. I am happy that you are content with your contribution to a mission that seeks to address the plight of individual minority rights and celebrate diversity.

Warrior Darren,
You said it and you've done it. You have my respect for sharing your life experience and your vision for our world. You've identified your responsibility and chosen to pursue your goal. You touch people with your gift of warriorhood. The Ubuntu spirit exists in you and we are back to the basics. I am because you are, and I am thankful for your support in my life. Honor to you, Darren.

Jo,
The future looks bright with such young people as you. Your understanding and grasp of the reality is amazing and something worth showing to the world. You have a fighting spirit to achieve what you've set out to achieve, and flexibility, which opens up to diverse cultures. Our world is one and we have a responsibility. Thanks for being there, my brother.

Paulo,
Rodo, you understood the mission and I will always have fond memories of what we shared together, our experiences on our journey. I am happy that we had that opportunity to learn from each other. It was interesting that our mentality and judgement of others is never right, but only right in our minds. I still feel guilty to have left you in Manica, but I convince myself that you were in good hands of people who cared about you and loved you.

Barbara, Hellen and Luciano.
I hope and know that your journey is yours, and that you will never change it just for another's to be accepted. Your values are yours and they should always be your guide. Peace through freedom to unite. Africa will one day be free.

Francky,
It was a surprise to me when you decided to walk through Africa. I respect your decision and hope that what you learnt from the journey remains valid and of benefit to your future. It was a wonderful experience to have a young soul all the way from another land, being so free and always willing to explore. Nothing was impossible when you teamed up with Paulo. Respect. Peace through freedom to unite will remain the basic goal of the mission.

Steve,
You remained part of the mission in your very own ways. I am glad to have met such a strong person with a goal to achieve the best for the community. We have our differences and that makes us who we are. It challenges our perceptions of life and reasons why we come together. Our paths cross with a reason, which I believe is for the good of our next step. It will always remain a learning process and I am looking forward to continuing to hear your advice and concerns. I respect your stand and authority.
192Thank you very much

Luciano
Great spirit my Big brother. You are a free spirit and you are living testimony of an African. Peace and strength to you your family. I hope our children grow to learn and better our society. I would want to live in Manica, what a blessed environment around your presence.

Chief
What a leader you are? I have been looking forward to sharing another moment with you and I know there will be one. Your energy is deserving of a leader and that's what you've been.

Omosh (fred mwallo)
I always remember your words during those hours of racing and hunting. I agree with that phrase, "Warriors never go, Omosh, we Jo! Ulikuwa mse mpowa, na one day tuta meet". I will always remember what we shared, though it be a long time. I will never give up. Your approval meant so much to my mission. Ero kamono. Pamoja Mondo!
Your creativity, motivation and innocence have been very supportive.

Brother, you know what you mean to me and the mission. Your project with the youth will flourish if pursued with your kind of commitment. Long live Nova.

Great gesture from you. It is amazing that we still have people who live on trust and not 100% dependent on papers. In my opinion that is the true value of a friend.

Leon
You are a lion. I am so happy that I met you. Your undying support while on the journey will go along way in revealing to the world the importance of self-defined borders. You are a fighter who sets the goal and follows it. Peace to you, my friend.
