THE NEXT STAGE OF THE MISSION.
The Maasai warrior is intended to support the following projects in Kenya in the hope that the Maasai people mostly the youth, women and children have a comfortable future, being able to support themselves and raising their living standards while still in their traditional ancestral background.
  • The Nyama choma for children project in Cape Town: The intention of the project is to help with bridging of the gap that was instilled and developed by the apartheid system and remains to be an issue assumed to be gone. read more
  • Computer training: which is aimed at making the youth computer literate, giving them an opportunity to interact with the outside world, getting exposed to different cultures, through cultural exchange programs via the internet. This will help in appreciating the cultural differences and thus seeing the need to stick to their culture. This also integrates them into the other side of the fence fairly.
  • Water project: We intend to support organizations involved in drilling boreholes, as water is the main backbone of life for the Maasai and other nomadic minority groups.
  • Cultural center: The intention of this project is to form employment for the old, while at the same time teaching the Maasai culture to visitors and tourists who visit this places. In the hope of passing the knowledge to the youth as well as others.
  • Art-craft: To support the women who do beading, and avoid their exploitation by the middlemen who take advantage of their desperation.
  • Girl child: support on-going projects on assisting girls who have run or undergone FGM to get their lives back.

  • Uniforms donated from friends in the U.K.

  • Lets Save the Girls is a project of the Maasai Women’s Group based in Isinya of Kajiado District in Kenya.read more

  • Land rights movements: Land is a major draw back to the development of the Maasai people, and such would like to unite the youth in their different areas to front for their rights, by being able to participate in peacefull demonstrations and rights movements.
  • Awareness and awakening: We intend to start a radio program targetting the youth and the women to enlighten them on their fundamental responsibilities as individuals in upholding the cultural principals of their forefathers as well as to stand for them selves.

We hope to fund campaigns that will eventually pressurize the government to re access it's position at the grassroots level, and respect the rights of the minority
